What’s New in Cancer 2020
This review of what’s new in oncology will focus on the latest diagnostics and treatments in oncology with an emphasis on clinical diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring in general practice. This lecture will cover the new therapies for canine lymphoma including Tanovea, Stelfonta the new intratumor injection for mast cell tumors, and updates on vaccine immunotherapies for osteosarcoma. We will discuss the new non-invasive urine test that detects the BRAF mutation found in bladder and prostate cancer, or urothelial carcinoma. The test can be used for both diagnosis and monitoring. We will discuss how best to use this test in your practice, and clinical cases will be presented. We will cover additional topics based on what’s current at the time of the meeting.
